Welcome to the photography site for Audrey Parnell. I’m a feisty red head that’s only five foot-two inches tall, but that has never stopped my from dreaming big and thinking I can take on the world!
My fascination with photography started in my late teens when I got my hands on an old Canon A-1. You know, one of those boxes that you used to put film into. I still appreciate that I discovered the art of photography before the digital age.
I have a mind that races and rarely shuts down. The only time it becomes calm is when I am behind the camera. This is where I can get lost in a world of my own.
My focus is on landscape, nature and travel photography. My husband of over twenty years is my traveling partner, together we have explored several continents. When I am not traveling I am photographing the local beauty around me. It’s not hard to be inspired to do so. I have been privileged to call two beautiful places home. One of them is Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada and the other is Banff National Park in the spectacular Rocky Mountains. You can check out our website that showcases photography from our ongoing world travels at Travelfootprints.ca as well as a site focused on Banff National Park and the surrounding Rocky Mountains at BanffandBeyond.com.
I hope you enjoy my work.
